The Gracies Documentary

Im super stoked about this documentary coming out the end of the year.

This film is about the Gracie's more as a family than Jiu-jitsu which is second.

From what Ive read, this is a tell-all, good and bad about the family which other books and

documentaries do not tell, as they focus more on the family's glory. The film starts with the brothers, Helio and Carlos, then their sons Carlson, Rolls, Rorion, Rickson and Renzo, and the seperation and styles of the two families. 

As we know in Guam, all families go through drama, and the Gracie Familia are no different. Thats life, so whether or not there still is bad blood between them, we still are forever grateful that they shared their Gentle Art to the world. Thank you to the Gracie Family!!!

small-kine intermission

Just want to let everyone out there know that were kind of in an intermission right now.
Im currently out here in Iraq, fulfilling Uncle Sam's wish until next summer, 2011. We will have a couple tees, patches and stickers being sold here and there. We'll let everyone know when its ready.                             Happy Bday to my beautiful daughter, Ella Grace. Big Four today.

O2 two stripe.

               Got two stripes during promotion nite @ O2. I have the best Instructors, Sensei Mike and Chris Onzuka. Their old-skool jiu-jitsu and all about the basics. They break down techniques piece by piece. I thought I knew alot when I first started at O2 but boy was I wrong. lol
They helped expand my knowledge on the mat and am very thankful for them putting time into my game and watch it grow. Also many thanks to Brandon Bernardino, sick brown belt. He helped my game grow and to all the other O2 players. Plenty great BJJ guys.
Cant wait to get back home and back to O2 to continue my journey.

Penn/Edgar II

you guys excited?! I know I am!! Looks like hes getting the last part of his training back at the rvca gym.
to me, he cant train for a fight in Hilo. Its too distracting there. All his other fights he smashed in, he trained at the rvca gym, away from home, no distractions and great sparring partners. You could kind of tell he wasnt in shape cause he had no abs. I hope he really brings it this time and kills it. Edgar is a good and humble opponent, but his time as a Champ, although short, has come to an end.
Go get em Champ!!!

Ive been rocking RVCA since '05. I think I have more VA shirts nowadays then I did wearing STUSSY.
If pm tenore thinks its best for the brand, then I believe he did the right thing. He made VA what it is today, on the streets, in the ring and mats and to the world. So we cant hate. I think their the sickest brand out there... I'll still be rocking \\////\\ all day!!
